Born in 1981, İstanbul, Olgu Ülkenciler, holds a BFA and MFA in the Painting Department in Yeditepe University.

In her early works, the artist confronts the state of adulthood, femininity, sexuality, urbanism, and individuality. The artist chooses an intellectual basis for her serial works and creates a plastic attitude to support her ideas. The artist develops her paintings, which are nurtured with graphic elements such as geometry, motifs and typography, with color and technical adaptation according to the critical axis of the idea it serves. In recent years, the artist focuses on the issues of “reconstruction” and “human” and constructs the end of postmodernist narratives based on “dehumanization” through the concepts of “reconstruction” and “the new human”.
