"Kölemen 7"
Curated by Gökşen Buğra
Istanbul’s dynamic contemporary art scene welcomes a significant new chapter as Galeri Bosfor opens the doors of its new space in Karaköy with a group exhibition titled “Kölemen 7,” named after the very street where it now resides.
“Kölemen 7”, curated by the founding director Gökşen Buğra, brings together a diverse roster of artists, reflecting the gallery’s expanding vision. The exhibition features works by Burcu Erden, Mithat Şen, Erman Özbaşaran, Olgu Ülkenciler, Ahmet Çerkez, Yasha Butler, Ilgın Seymen, Funda Susamoğlu, Barış Göktürk, Işıl Kapu, along with three new additions to the gallery’s program: Eda Soylu, Betül Kotil, and French photographer Laurent Champoussin. Across sculpture, relief, ceramics, photography, and painting, the artists explore a range of contemporary expressions that resonate with the architectural spirit of the new space.
