Metaphors of Transformation, Ahmet Çerkez

Ahmet Çerkez’s fourth solo exhibition, Metaphors of Transformation, centers on the order of nature and the ruptures that make the continuity of this order possible. The artist approaches nature not as a fixed system, but as a dynamic structure that simultaneously contains birth, destruction, and renewal. Rather than directly representing the explanatory models offered by science, he produces visual correspondences to these disciplines’ attempts to read and interpret nature. Layers accumulating on the surface, recurring flows, and measured interventions reveal that continuity is often established through interruption. Instead of presenting definitive conclusions, these works open a space that reminds us that measurement is always incomplete, and that order is far more complex than it appears.
